Signing Up
- Go to herdmanager.app
- Tap Start free
- Sign in with Google, or create an account with email and password
That's it — you're in, and you can start adding goats immediately.
Setup Wizard
First time in, a short wizard asks a few things that shape the app around your farm:
- Your farm name and details
- Farm Focus — whether you track dairy, meat, fiber, or pack goats. Sections you don't need stay hidden, and you can change it any time in Settings
- Whether your farm profile is public
You can skip it and set these up later.
What Happens Next
You'll land on your Dashboard, which will be empty. The next step is adding your first goats — or importing them if you already have records somewhere.
Nothing to download. It runs in your browser on any device, and you can add it to your home screen for a full-screen app experience. There's also an Android app on Google Play.
Your Data
- Saved locally first, so the app is fast and works with no signal
- Synced to the cloud automatically when you're online, across every device you sign in on
- Yours to take — export a full backup at any time, subscription or not
