Farm Information & Privacy
Your farm profile is both your record and — if you choose — a public page buyers and other breeders can find.

Farm Details
Farm name, owner, location, contact details, logo, and description. This information feeds your public farm page, printed documents, and marketplace listings.
Public Farm Page
When public, your farm gets a shareable page — effectively a free website. It can show your herd roster, goats for sale, stud services, and your farm's story.
Privacy Controls
Public doesn't mean everything is visible. Each of these is separate:

Hiding Herd Counts
Herd size is a stat card, not something a visitor needs in order to browse your goats or buy from you — but it does invite snap judgments about the scale of your operation.
Farms created since July 2026 hide counts by default. Farms created before that keep showing theirs unless you turn the setting on, because changing what was already published without warning would have been worse. If yours is an older farm and you'd rather they were hidden, the checkbox is in Settings.
Per-Goat Privacy
Two separate per-goat controls, on each goat's edit screen:
- Private in community lookup — the goat still appears in pedigree chains so lineages don't break, but the name, breed, registration, photos, and your farm name are stripped
- Hide from my public farm page — keeps the goat off your herd roster entirely
These are independent. A goat can be private in pedigree lookups and still listed on your farm page, or the reverse.
Marking a goat hidden from your farm page doesn't pull it from the for-sale section — if you've listed an animal, hiding it from buyers would be surprising.
