Is Herd Manager really free? Yes! The free plan includes every feature with up to 10 active goats. There are no hidden fees or feature gates.
Do I need to download anything? No. Herd Manager is a web app that runs in your browser. Just go to herdmanager.app and sign in. You can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience.
Does it work offline? Yes. All data is stored locally on your device first and syncs to the cloud when you're online. You can add goats, log milk, and record health events without internet.
Can I use it on my phone and computer? Yes. Sign in with the same account on any device. Your data syncs automatically between them.
What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription? Nothing is deleted. You keep all your data and revert to the free plan (10 active goat limit). If you resubscribe later, everything is still there.
Can multiple people access the same herd? Yes! Use the Team feature to invite family members or employees with different permission levels.
How do I get my existing records into the app? Use the Import feature in Settings to upload CSV or Excel files with your goat data. The smart importer maps your columns automatically.
