Herd Manager offers two plans. Both include every feature — the only difference is how many active goats you can track.

What Counts as an "Active" Goat?
Only goats with an Active or For Sale status count toward your free plan limit. Goats marked as Sold, Deceased, or Archived don't count — so you can keep full historical records without paying.
When to Upgrade
Most farmers start on the free plan and upgrade naturally when their herd grows past 10 active goats. There's no pressure to upgrade before then, and you'll never lose features.
Unlimited Plan Pricing
- Monthly: $12/month
- Annual: $100/year (save ~30%)
Both options can be managed from Settings → Subscription in the app. You can switch between monthly and annual, or cancel anytime.
Founding Farmer Program
Early supporters of Herd Manager receive the Founding Farmer badge on their farm profile and are locked in at the best available rate. This badge is permanent and stays with your account forever, even if you cancel and resubscribe later.
