Health Events & Records

Comprehensive health tracking helps you maintain a healthy herd and catch problems early.

Recording a Health Event​

  1. Go to a goat's profile → Health tab
  2. Tap + Add Health Event
  3. Select the event type (vaccination, deworming, hoof trim, vet visit, illness, injury, etc.)
  4. Enter the date, details, and any medications administered
  5. Add notes and follow-up reminders
  6. Save

Event Types​

Herd Manager supports many health event types: vaccinations (CDT, rabies, etc.), dewormings (with product name and dosage), hoof trims, vet visits, illness and diagnosis, injury, surgery, lab tests, FAMACHA scores, body condition scores, and custom event types.

Health Timeline​

Each goat's Health tab shows a chronological timeline of all health events, making it easy to review their complete medical history.

Withdrawal Period Tracking​

When you administer medications, the app can track withdrawal periods for milk and meat. This helps ensure you're not using milk or selling animals during active withdrawal periods.
