Treatment Plans
Real herd health is rarely one animal and one dose. It's a five-day course across a handful of goats, a dewormer with a recheck twelve days later, or a two-shot CD&T series three weeks apart.
A treatment plan turns that into a schedule the app remembers for you.
What a Plan Is
A plan is a set of steps, each with a day offset from the start:
- Day 0 — dewormer dose
- Day 12 — fecal egg count recheck
Apply that to one goat or a dozen, pick a start date, and every step becomes a dated calendar reminder. Check a step off and the app logs the health record for each animal — and starts the withdrawal clock if that step carries one.
Built-In Templates
Four common courses come ready to use:

Step Types
Each step has an action type, which determines the kind of health record it logs:

Per step you can also set the product, dose, unit, route, and withdrawal days for milk and meat.
Withdrawal Handling
This is the part worth understanding. When a step carrying withdrawal days is completed, the app writes a medication record behind the scenes so the withdrawal appears everywhere withdrawals normally appear — dashboard, calendar, goat profile, and the milk-logging warning.

Two-Way Check-Off
Steps and their calendar reminders stay in sync. Complete a step from the plan and the reminder clears; complete it from the calendar and the plan updates. There's no separate list to keep tidy.
Reopening a Step
Checked something off by mistake? Reopening a step retracts the health record it logged and the withdrawal it started. The record doesn't linger, and an animal doesn't stay under a hold that never should have begun.
Saving Your Own Templates
If your farm runs the same course every year, save it as a custom template. It appears alongside the built-ins next time. Custom templates are farm-specific and editable; the built-ins are fixed.

Incomplete antibiotic courses drive resistance. The reason plans schedule every dose rather than only the first is that day 4 is the one that gets forgotten — not day 1.
