Every account gets a referral code. Share it with other goat farmers and both of you benefit.
What Each Side Gets
They get a discount when they upgrade:
- 25% off their first 3 months on the monthly plan, or
- 10% off their first year on annual
You earn credit:
- $12 credit once they've stayed subscribed 30+ days
- Applied to your next invoice — or to your first one, if you're still on the free plan when they sign up
- Up to 6 per year
The 30-day wait exists so the credit reflects a real user rather than a signup that cancels immediately.
Sharing Your Code
Settings gives you the code and a QR code — useful at shows, on a business card, or on a sale flyer, where a scannable square beats reading out a string of characters.
Your code also appears automatically on your public farm profile, so anyone who finds your farm page can use it without you doing anything.
Where It Fits Naturally
Referrals work best where you're already recommending the app rather than as something you push:
- On a sale receipt or buyer packet — new goat owners need record-keeping immediately
- In a breed group when someone asks what people use
- At a show, when the conversation turns to record-keeping
The free plan covers up to 10 active goats with every feature, so someone can start with no code and no cost. The referral discount matters when they outgrow it — which means sharing your code with a small herd is worth more later than it looks now.
Team Members
The referral section is hidden for team members on someone else's farm — codes belong to the account owner.
