Breeding Analytics

☰ More → 📊 Reports → Breeding

Your breeding program, summarized from the breedings and kiddings you've recorded.

What It Shows

  • Conception rate — breedings that resulted in a confirmed pregnancy
  • Kidding rate — kids born per doe kidded, so twins and triplets are visible
  • Buck performance — conception rates by sire
  • Kid sex ratios — across the season and by sire
  • Seasonal patterns — how your results shift across the breeding year

Reproductive Efficiency

The 🐐 Doe Fertility subtab under Breeding → 🧬 Genetics goes deeper on the doe side:

  • Kidding interval — how long between kiddings for each doe
  • Days open — from kidding to the next successful breeding
  • Repeat breeders — does needing multiple services to settle

Those three are where money quietly leaks in a breeding program. A doe with an eighteen-month kidding interval is costing you a kid crop without anything looking obviously wrong.

Sire & Dam Report Cards

Breeding → 🧬 Genetics → 📈 Sire/Dam Performance breaks results down per parent — offspring counts, daughters' milk, birth and adjusted 90-day weights, appraisal scores, survival rate. See Genetics Tools.

Interpreting the Numbers

Sample size first

A conception rate from five breedings tells you very little. Where a figure depends on counts, the app shows the count — check it before you act on the percentage.

Records only reflect what's entered. A doe bred but never marked pregnant or open looks different in these numbers than one whose outcome was recorded, so keeping breeding outcomes current is what makes this tab worth reading.
