Milk Testing Workflow

Make DHIA test days smoother with these tips.

Before Test Day​

  1. Ensure all does in milk have active lactation periods
  2. Have each doe's ID readily accessible in the app
  3. Prepare your milking order

On Test Day​

  1. Weigh each milking as usual and note the weights
  2. Collect samples per DHIA protocol
  3. Log all test day weights in Herd Manager

After Results​

  1. Enter DHIA results (butterfat %, protein %, SCC) for each doe
  2. Review the data for any red flags (high SCC, declining production)
  3. Compare against previous tests to spot trends
