Goat Photos
Photos help with identification, marketing, and keeping a visual record of your herd.
Adding Photos
- Open a goat's profile
- Go to the Photos tab
- Tap Add Photo
- Choose a photo from your device's camera or gallery
The first photo you add becomes the goat's profile picture, shown in lists, cards, and marketplace listings.
Tips for Great Goat Photos
- Side profile shots are best for registration and sales — show the goat's conformation clearly
- Good lighting matters — natural daylight works best
- Clean background — A barn wall or fence line works well
- Multiple angles — Front, side, and rear views give buyers a complete picture
Photos in Marketplace Listings
When you list a goat for sale on the marketplace, all photos from their profile are included in the listing. Buyers can browse them in a gallery view.
Storage
Photos are stored in the cloud with your account. They sync across devices so you can add a photo from your phone and see it on your computer.
